Contributing to environmental awareness
Recently we supported “Urgent Run - United Nations World Toilet Day” is a global run to call for urgent action to end the sanitation crisis. It brings together communities around the world for a run or walk for sanitation. 1 in 3 people on this planet still don’t have access”. It was is a global run to call for urgent action to end the global sanitation crisis.
It brings together communities around the world for a run for sanitation. 1 in 3 people on this planet still don’t have access to a clean and safe toilet. 1,000 children die each day due to poor sanitation; and better sanitation leads to better nutrition and improved health, especially for women and children.
Being the official photography team for RUN 350 from 2010-2014, we also raised awareness of the need to lower the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Today, the level of CO2 is over 400 parts per million (ppm) and our goal is to raise awareness to get that down to 350 (ppm); which is believed by scientists to be the level required for a liveable planet.
